In 2011, at the invitation of the late maestro Lorin Maazel, he was a featured soloist with the Castleton Festival Orchestra performing the Weber Clarinet Concerto No.2. The following year he was invited back and featured in the Stars of the Future Concert. In 2013, he toured with the late maestro Lorin Maazel and the Castleton Festival Orchestra to perform Puccini's La Boheme at the Royal Opera House Muscat in Oman. An active recitalist, soloist and chamber musician, he has performed at Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, Aspen Music Festival, Brott Music Festival, Canadian Opera Company, Kitchener-Waterloo Chamber Music Society, Mooredale Concerts and Atlantic Music Festival where he was a resident artist. His upcoming performances in the next season include Washington D.C, Vancouver, Toronto, Philadephia and Seoul, Korea.

 

Mr. Cho's accolades include first prize of the Mooredale Concerto Competition, 4th prize of the International Clarinet Association's Young Artist Competition, finalist for The Astral Artist 2011 National Audition in Philadelphia and semi-finalist for 2013 Concert Artist Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition in New York City. 

 

Mr. Cho has been a finalist for the position of Associate Principal Clarinet with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra in Sydney, Austrailia,  Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra's Principal Clarinet  Audition, Virginia Symphony Orchestra's Principal Clarinet Audition, Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s Principal Clarinet Audition and semi-finalist for the Houston Grand Opera's Principal Clarinet Audition and Symphony Nova Scotia's Principal Clarinet Audition. Most recently he won the Canadian Forces Military Band audition. Mr. Cho's performances can be heard on Washington's Classical WETA 90.9FM.
